My dishwasher plug is too short to plug in the wall outlet. I have to use a power strip. The adhesion is strong. It holds the power strip itself without any extra support.

These holders have surprised me because they help organize plug in receptors. I have used them on three so far and it really makes the space more organized and easy to clean. 

Very useful item - I love them. Great for getting all the cords off the floor and makes vacuuming a lot easier.
